Chronology of cameras Hewlett Packard

In spring 2000, HP and Pentax announced their common manufacturing of digital cameras, explaining that their collaboration would be limited to their conception and realization, and that each of the two brands would keep an independent commercial policy and might even put their respective cameras in competition.
A few months later, the first two devices resulting from this collaboration were presented. And indeed the HP C618 and the Pentax EI-200 are twins, and they share the same bright, high quality Pentax lens with 3x optical zoom which provides good results.
The C618 was also sold as a kit together with the HP 1218 printer, with which it could communicate by means of an infrared port.
The C618 could also capture sound, up to 45 seconds per frame.
